Sheikh Rasheed travels to Iran, taking over the leadership of Indian aggression
ISLAMABAD: Rail minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad has traveled to Iran on Tuesday for his three-day official visit to Iran.
During his visit, the Minister will meet Iranian President Hassan Rumani. It is also expected that the Iranian leadership will be informed of Indian aggression following the February 14 attack by Pulwama.
On March 6, he will attend the Rasht-Qazvin railroad event at the invitation of the Iranian government. Guest of honor on this occasion is Hassan Ruhani.
A spokesman for the Ministry of Railways said Sheikh Rashimen would send a message from Prime Minister Imran Khan and a message from President Arif Alvi to the Iranian president.
The Federal Minister will also forward a message from President Alvi to the top Iranian leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
It will meet with relevant organizations to achieve partnership and improvement of the rail network.
Last December, Pakistan and Iran agreed to strengthen their trade relations and improve rail links.
